Company Overview
I founded Ink Runs Ltd. in 1987 to create runner greeting cards, postcards, and notepads. Being an avid runner, I had looked for greeting cards for runners and couldn’t find any. I began with a “far out” sense of humor based on my own running experiences. I created quality detailed cartoons of those running feelings and observations. You may know my work from the classic marathon
“24 Mile Buzzards”. One hungry buzzard sitting on the 24 mile marker says to the other as they watch weary runners pass by, “This Was A Good Spot Last Year”
. You know that feeling of being “Buzzard Bait”tm if you’ve run a marathon. The “Buzzard Bait”tm big head cartoon followed.
Thanks to you who asked for more, Ink Runs grew and branched out into lots of new non-running themes. I do a lot of great RACE
tees, especially for those discerning race directors who want a special tee for their runners and sponsors. Corporate art and items are a large part of the Ink Runs business.
